Ambassador’s Remarks at the Re-Branding of the American Bank of Investments

Prime Minister Rama, Minister Cani, Minister Ahmetaj, Governor Sejko, Mr. Katz, Mr. Ballta, ladies and gentlemen,

The American Bank of Investments.  That has a nice ring to it.

As you know, it’s been a long time since there has been American representation in the banking sector – going all the way back to when Intesa Sanpaolo bought the American Bank of Albania in 2008.

That bank — the American Bank of Albania — was formed in the difficult economic years after the Trazira when the Albanian people very much needed the legitimacy and ethical standards brought by an American bank.

In that same spirit, NCH Capital brings both strong technical skills in banking as well as the business ethics of respected American company.  We could not be prouder to have an American company operating again in the banking sector.

In conclusion, I would like to thank particularly the Governor of the Bank of Albania, Gent Sejko, for the trust he has placed in NCH Capital and the American Bank of Investments.  I am confident that this bank will be a strong player in the Albanian banking sector for many years to come.
